ĎBrokení is a moving story about forgiveness, peace and ending the escalating cycle of hatred.
Inspired by the true story of a young Māori girl who was murdered in the mid 1800ís. She always carried the Gospel of Luke with her until the book was stolen by her murderer from a marauding tribe. Upon reading the book, the murderer was so filled with remorse that he sought forgiveness from the girlís father. This restored the peace between the two warring tribes and ended a cycle of war.
'Broken', tells the modern day version of her story. Logan, an ex-gang leader, has left the gang life to raise his daughter, Tori. But when Tori is murdered by an opposing gang in town, Logan must choose between forgiveness or revenge. Cruz, Toriís murderer, must also choose forgiveness in order to end the cycle of hatred and revenge which is escalating into an inevitable gang war.
